Tokyo-based skate shop Murasaki teamed up with Nike SB to create a pair of pretty effin’ clean Dunk Low Pros. The shoes’ color is a shade of very dark obsidian, and the upper is built from a mix of suede and perforated and Elephant print leather (the latter definitely being evocative of Supreme’s Dunks from 2002 and the classic Air Jordan 1). Embroidered on the heels are the numbers 19 and 73, possibly referring to the year of the shop’s formation. The insoles are printed with the statement “For the future of skateboarding” and some Japanese letters, which are probably the statement’s translation – but at this point, we’re just guessing (if you happen to speak Japanese, please enlighten us). In addition, the shoe’s tongue is kept in a pristine white, which establishes a nice contrast with the dark coloring. It releases on June 21, so if you need some nice kicks for Go Skateboarding Day, make sure to cop these beauties.
