Converse CONS X Pop Trading Company (Jack Purcell Hi & Low)
Amsterdam-based Pop Trading Company attended to the classic Jack Purcell in a recent collaboration with Converse CONS. Innovating on the already popular shoe, Pop chose a protective rubber strip that covers the lower half of both shoes’ uppers as the principal design feature. The Purcell comes in two versions, one’s a high-top in a navy/citrus/egret colorway, the other’s a low top, and features egret/red dahlia coloring. Also, the Purcells feature a cavity in the toe cap, into which Pop has subtly inserted their wordmark. Having been absent from our shop for quite some time, the limited release seems as good a resumption of business with CONS as any, and we’re happy to announce that we’ll continue to stock regular CONS in the future.
