The Gel-NYC conquered the streets in record time, but Asics isn't settling for the status quo and is now launching the Gel-NYC 2.0. This evolution dives deep into the archives of the turn of the millennium, combining the striking aesthetic of the GEL-1050 from the year 2000 with a contemporary high-end finish. The "Cream" and "Concrete" colorway highlights the hybrid character of the shoe: a tribute to the city's concrete jungle paired with the premium feel of first-class suede overlays.

High-Tech Heritage for the Urban Daily

While the design builds a bridge to the heritage of the GEL-LYTE DS II, the interior is a manifesto of modern running technology. The redesigned midsole utilizes FF BLAST PLUS cushioning from the performance collection, making the shoe noticeably lighter and more responsive than its predecessor. Combined with visible GEL inserts and the stabilizing TPU TRUSSTIC unit, it creates a walking experience that supports natural movement and efficiently absorbs shocks with every step.
