The Asics JAPAN PRO™ isn't just a brand-new shoe—it’s the logical evolution of the FABRE® JAPAN S™ basketball shoe from 1981. Asics Skateboarding took the original and updated it to meet today’s demands on the board. In this clean Black / White colorway, the shoe brings that authentic 80s vibe straight to the skatespot.

Built for the Session

What sets the Japan Pro apart is its durability. The suede upper is reinforced at the high-wear areas—the heel and toe—with triple-stitching, so you get more life out of your shoes. An elastic tongue band prevents it from shifting while you skate, while the thick padding provides the necessary comfort. The cupsole isn't just glued; it’s fully stitched for extra stability. Additionally, the perforated sockliner handles the impact during heavy landings.
