The "Joyous Chorus" collection is Julian Klincewicz’s personal tribute to his formative years in San Diego, captured in a world of everyday sketches, playful colors, and the carefree energy of Southern Californian summer days. By reimagining archival models like the Old Skool 36 and Style 31, the artist transforms footwear into mobile archives that speak a visual language of their own through suede textures and hand-drawn details, such as sketches from his eleven-year ritual of daily to-do lists. The collection follows the philosophy that true permanence and character only emerge through use: whether in the durable canvas of the Carpenter pants or the soft, vintage-washed French terry fleece—each piece is designed to become more vibrant with every puddle and every day at the skatepark.
