What started back in 2008 as a sketchy online blog by designer Will Bankhead to collect the internet's most bizarre flotsam and obscure underground audio has transformed into one of London's most uncompromising music and streetwear imprints. The Trilogy Tapes (TTT) completely shits on mainstream appeal, serving up a raw diet of the finest techno, drone music, forgotten punk rock tapes, and visual boundaries that would drive average mall-shoppers insane. Operating straight out of Bankhead’s South London basement—which doubles as TTT headquarters and an after-hours watering hole for his crew—the label churns out vinyl records with unsettlingly brilliant sleeves, loads of audio cassettes for your 1975 Jensen Interceptor, and an ultra-niche apparel line. Rocking their graphic-heavy t-shirts and hoodies means putting on the exact type of deep inside subcultural knowledge that is guaranteed to get on everyone’s last nerve.
