The Authentic has been doing its own thing since 1966 and rarely needs a flashy gimmick. But when Vans slaps an all-over star pattern across that low-slung silhouette, even the most stubborn nostalgic heads have to take a closer look. The black canvas upper is dominated by printed white stars, serving up a fresh dose of raw punk attitude. The marshmallow white sole pairs up with cotton laces and white metal eyelets to create a crisp contrast. It is a timeless classic built with just the right amount of edge for the streets.

90s Heritage and Sustainable Comfort

Behind that eye-catching shell lies proper craftsmanship built for your feet. The higher sidewall with a gloss finish and the retro foxing tape texture take direct inspiration from the reinforced Osnaburg outsoles of the 1990s. Making a real difference underfoot is the upgraded Sola Foam ADC insole. This footbed provides soft, long-lasting daily cushioning and is made with at least 30 percent bio-based PU foam, partially derived from plants and USDA certified. The vulcanized construction paired with the original waffle tread keeps your board feel as direct as ever.
