If you thought checkerboard patterns on sneakers were done to death, Vans takes it to another level with this Heritage edition. The sturdy canvas upper features a distorted, visually dynamic checkerboard design guaranteed to turn heads at the local spot. As a heavy bonus, two separate pairs of laces are included right out of the box, letting you switch between clean white and bold red depending on your setup. This is a shoe for anyone who refuses to wear boring, off-the-shelf footwear.

90s Edges and Modern Street Comfort

Behind that wild pattern lies proper footwear craftsmanship built with serious daily comfort in mind. The higher sidewall with a gloss finish and the distinct foxing tape texture take direct inspiration from the reinforced Osnaburg outsoles of the 1990s. Providing soft cushioning for everyday wear is the upgraded Sola Foam ADC footbed. This insole is made with at least 30 percent bio-based PU foam, partially derived from plants and USDA certified. The vulcanized sole with the classic waffle tread ensures that direct, reliable board feel you expect.
