The Nike SB Parra Pack

The Nike SB Parra Pack

Nike SB just teamed up with Pieter Janssen, better known as Parra, to create one of the more substantial collaborations of this year. Parra, a Dutch illustrator, musician, and videographer, is a frequent Nike collaborator, and you can see why: his illustrations, somewhat reminiscent of Henri Matisse’s cut-outs, are incredibly powerful and recognizable, thanks to their intense color and subtle humor. In addition, Janssen is the creative director of By Parra, the street wear brand formerly known as Rockwell Clothing. Among street wear folks, Parra has been a household name since the mid-2000s, which, in this fast-spinning world, is quite an achievement. Adding to his already popular name is this new Nike SB release: it comprises a pair of low Nike SB Dunks and a pair of Blazer Lows, easily the centerpieces of this collaboration, and an assortment of t-shirts, pants, caps, an polo shirt and even socks. The drop’s leitmotif is a layered multicolored Swoosh, which adorns the Dunk’s sides and most of the apparel. Speaking of the Dunk, this one’s a real looker: featuring white premium leather, this OG model looks exactly like the SB Dunks Nike released in the mid-2000s. The Blazer Low, while naturally more streamlined, has the same design elements. The clothing looks dope as well, and you can bet your Tiffany Dunks that they’ll be gone in like 60 seconds after release. You can buy the Nike SB x Parra drop at our web shop and at our store in Frankfurt.
