Nike SB Dunk Low Elite “Pink Box”

Nike SB Dunk Low Elite “Pink Box”

In case you’ve started your skateboarding career somewhere around 2005, chances are you’ll be quite familiar with Nike SB’s pink shoe box. Back then, Nike SB releases were strictly limited to core skate shops, leaving large shoe retailers left and right wondering what Nike SB was and how to get their hands on a pair of the highly sought-after limited editions Nike SB was releasing by the minute. Many legendary kicks came in the pink box: the incredibly pricy Nike SB x Diamond Supply, codenamed “Tiffany”, the pin-striped Avenger Dunk and the infamous Pigeon Dunk, which famously caused a riot in front of NYC’s retail store “The Reed Space”, causing the police to intervene. In the middle of the early 2000s, Nike SB was stirring up both skateboarding and street wear games, causing massive line-ups in front of stores and skyrocketing resell prices.
Today, of course, Nike SB can be bought pretty much anywhere. However, limited editions are still a privilege of trusted skate shops. The latest release in their ongoing Box collection is the Nike SB Dunk “Pink Box”, paying homage to the aforementioned packaging Nike SB shoes came in. The Dunk features a pink reflective 3M upper, a shiny black swoosh and white laces. Additionally, you’ll find the collection’s box logo embossed to the ankles of the shoes. You can buy the Nike SB Dunk Low Elite “Pink Box” both in-store and online now.
