The Adidas Aloha Super by Mark Gonzales, the shoe that makes you ollie the Wallenberg Gap at least in your dreams.

You know, some people give Mark Gonzales a lot of shit because of his artsy attitude, but he was a pretty decent skater back in the 90s. For instance, the Gonz was first to ollie the Wallenberg set in San Francisco, as seen in Blind Skateboard’s Video Days. You know, that skate video old farts at the skatepark never shut the fuck up about. And the rule goes, people who ollied Wallenberg in the 90s can pretty much do whatever the fuck they want. And so, to honor this defining moment in skateboarding history, Adidas Skateboarding releases the classic Aloha Super in a special Wallenberg-colorway. They sure didn’t half-ass the concept, either: the shoe’s “cream and coral hues” are inspired by the “sunset reflected on the blocks and wall accents” of Gonz’ Wallenberg ollie footage, while the three black stripes symbolize the spot’s asphalt. It’s an Adidas shoe that constantly reminds you that there were better skaters than you when skateboarding was an underground thing to do. Bummer. You can buy the Adidas Skateboarding Aloha Super by Mark Gonzales from November 2nd at our web shop and our store in Frankfurt.
