Dime Mtl. and Alltimers are two of our favorite brands, and their new collaboration is a special treat for us. Time and again, both companies have stood out with an ironic, almost nonchalant attitude towards skateboarding, graphic design and pop culture, and their recent collection is no exception. Alltimers is well-known for their propensity for outrageously shaped decks, and it seems that they found a like-minded partner in Dime: drawing from Greek and Egyptian mythology (and, oddly, from a well-known character from the Tekken series), their Scroll Deck is shaped like, well, a scroll. It features what appears like the 10 commandments, albeit slightly adapted to fit the mythical theme of the collaboration. The fantastical beasts also occupy the t-shirt designs, making the AllDimers collection a great fit for Dime’s main collection. The latter comprises an eclectic mix of graphics and themes, ranging from the Doom guy to Japanese dragons, cats in boxes, and dogs sniffing assholes. Add classic Dime hoodies and t-shirts for good measure, and the result’s a great little collection that cements Dime’s and Alltimers’ place among the most creative skateboarding brands out there.
