Blondey McCoy's Transparent Adidas Superstar 80s

Blondey McCoy's Transparent Adidas Superstar 80s

Blondey McCoy, skateboarder, fashion model, and owner of London-based label Thames, partnered up with Adidas Skateboarding to release an outrageous see-through Superstar 80s. The Adidas classic’s upper is constructed entirely of transparent polyurethane so that you better flex your best pair of socks wearing it. In case your socks drawer doesn’t pack a lot of heat, Adidas made sure to include three special Union Jack-inspired pairs of sports socks featuring the river Thames with the shoes. The Superstar’s shell toe is not translucent, so you don’t have to worry about your pedicure too much (true models always have their toenail game on point, though). Adidas’ three stripes cut through the upper, and Blondey’s name is printed in gold letters next to ‘em. The whole thing’s more of a fashion statement than a proper skate shoe, but it’ll sure be interesting to see people trying to actually skate it. By the way, the shoebox itself is worthy of any collector’s shelf: it features two drawers, one for the shoes and one for the socks, and Adidas and Blondey co-branding. Blondey McCoy’s Adidas Skateboarding Superstar 80s will drop December 14th, and if any of you bot people paid any attention to how Bonkers handles the whole release thing, we sure hope y’all got nice frames at home for those pictures you gonna get. You can buy the Superstar at our web shop and our store in Frankfurt.
