Pop quiz: besides skateboarding, what’s the next dopest urban sport everyone loves? It sure ain’t parcours, so leave your Aladdin pants at home. We’re talking about mini-golf, of course. In celebration of Adidas Skateboarding's release of the all-new Liberty Cup we’re inviting y’all for a tournament of putt-putt and skate-skate at some of Frankfurt’s most famous spots. Here’s the catch: instead of artificial green, we’ll use the urban architecture of each spot as the mini-golf course. Cracks in the concrete, “natural” banks and other architectural idiosyncrasies will thus become the main challenges. The tournament will take place at three locations: the banks of Bockenheimer Warte, the gravel, and ledges of Goetheplatz, and the infamously fucked-up surface of Frankfurt’s most well-known skate spot, the Hauptwache. Once the tournament is concluded and the winners appropriately honored, the skate session will continue as long as y’all got energy. Participation is limited, so y’all be quick with the registration. See you on the green.
