Class photo day was the worst day back when we were in school. At first, they actually weren’t so bad: the school would hire professional photographers with professional equipment, and usually their photos were half-decent. The year book, in turn, was handled by a publisher specialized in year book publishing (if that’s a thing, anyway), and so the books would turn out just fine. But one day, the school cut the funding. No more photographers, no more publishers: just some eager beavers that made it their holy mission to continue the doomed year book tradition, taking their dads’ 5 mega pixel trash cams and starting to fire away at hapless students. No lighting, no backgrounds, no post production. Needless to say, it was fucking garbage. Long story short, that’s why you didn’t see us coming up with Fucking Awesome’s great idea to have class photos of their team riders as a whole board series. The photos of young Na-Kel Smith, Kevin Bradley, Tyshawn Jones, et al look kinda cool, actually. The full-dip boards of the whole FA pro team – except for Dill, ‘cause somehow that guy looks even uglier than our self-made class photos back in the day – are now available at our web shop and at our store in Frankfurt.
