Vans and Dime Mtl. have already successfully collaborated on a couple of sneakers - the Slip On Pro from last year and two Old Skool Pros which are actually part of this pack released last Saturday – but bringing back the iconic Fairlane from the 90s really knocks it out of the park. While the 90s hype is uninterrupted, Dime and Vans thought it was a good idea to re-release one of the most beloved Vans sneakers from that time. It seems, though, that Dime is well aware of the sheer ridiculousness of the recent infatuation with the 1990s. In their promotional video, a bunch of hyperactive teens discover the icy Fairlane in their mother’s fridge, which may as well be a time machine to the colorful pre-Millennial age of dial-up Internet. We recommend wearing it to ill-fitting sweaters and stone-washed 501s, both of which you can buy from Bonkers, of course.
