Our favorite cat-loving artist, Leon Karssen, is back with a nice little collection consisting of a couple of t-shirts and hoodies. Karssen’s signature playfulness is a very welcome diversion in times when skateboarders take themselves and their sport more seriously than a case of bloody hemorrhoids. His cats say things like “Here’s a fuck I don’t give” or “Nice, nice,” which, considering all the shit skateboarding is going through right now, reminds us of the nonchalant attitude our kind somehow seems to have lost along the way. Today, the talk about realness and sell-outs couldn’t become more annoying if we tried, and the whole debate seems to be as promising as rehab for Chad Muska. As we’re complaining about spoiled rich kids chewing up skateboarding and spitting it out as the world’s lamest sport since fucking golfing, it’s kind of refreshing to see Karssen still not giving any shits about the dilemma we’re all in right now.
