LEVI'S SKATEBOARDING

LEVI'S SKATEBOARDING

Bummer! Today was gonna be that day you finally no-complied that 15 stair close to your skatepark. But your warm up sesh was cut short because your pants ripped kickflipping. And if you were going to slam hard on that 15 stair, you’d at least do so without your balls hanging out for everyone to see (and laugh at). Luckily, your friendly neighborhood skate shop has got you covered. We won’t claim that our well-assorted Levi’s Skateboarding pants are indestructible (although they’re pretty damn close). We can say, however, that the good people at Levi’s put considerable effort into making them some of the best skateboarding pants on the market. Which makes sense since Levi Strauss founded the company in SF in 1853 in order to provide the best quality denim for an affordable price. Initially launched as a collaboration of Levi’s and Nike Skateboarding in 2012, Levi’s Skateboarding is now continuative project that lives up to the promise of its parent company to craft great legwear. Levi’s has also gathered a team of pro skateboarders overseeing the pants’ quality, among them Marius Syvanen. On top of that, they’re really nice guys. Teaming up with locals around the world (and in such exotic places like La Paz, Bolivia), Levi’s Skateboarding uses its resources to help local skateboarding communities thrive. Building DIY skate parks that would otherwise not exist, Levi’s takes its corporate responsibilities rather seriously. Focusing on neglected places like Johannesburg, South Africa, Levi’s promotes skateboarding where little to no financial and political support exists. Levi’s Skateboarding knows that you don’t talk the talk if you can’t walk the walk.

Still, the question at everyone’s lips is: What makes Levi’s Skateboarding pants stand out? Well, in order to meet the special needs of skateboarders, the jeans and workpants are woven with built-to-last Cordura fabric. Additional stitching makes the seams less likely to tear. “But can I do the splits in it,” you ask? Sure you can (but we don’t know why you’d want to). Thanks to Lycra T4000 stretching fabric, the Levi’s Skateboarding collection is not only durable, but also flexible. For those more susceptible for excessive transpiration, you might be relieved to hear that the Lycra fabric increases moisture control. So there you have it: they’re strong, they’re flexible, they’re dry. Like pampers. But, you know, better for jumping down 15 stairs. Which you will have to do now. We all know it was just an excuse anyway. If you’re alive afterwards, drop by and treat yourself to some Levi’s five pockets or work pants. If you’re hospitalized, just log onto our page and order them online. If you’re dead... don’t bother.
