The new Fucking Awesome Collection (Summer 16)

Hi folks, here’s a quick update on the latest Fucking Awesome drop which will be released at midnight tonight. As you know, the guys from FA oscillate between LA and NYC. Before rental prices skyrocketed to the Moon, the latter was famous for frequent muggings back in the day. The Breakthru hoodie and t-shirt thus feature FA’s lettering, separated by the muzzle of a revolver pointed at the beholder. Run around screaming “FREEZE!” in everybody’s faces for maximum doucheness. We also received a ton of new pro boards from Sage Elsesser, Tyshawn Jones and Kevin Bradley: both Sage and Kevin had their class and graduation photos printed on their boards respectively, while Tyshawn’s graphic shows him skitchin’ some MTA bus, probably in order to save his lunch money. Tyshawn has been accepted into the ranks of the Fucking Awesome pro team as of June this year, a logical step following his insane part in Adidas’ Away Days. Sage and Kevin, on the other hand, are two of Fucking Awesome’s old timers, long-serving veterans in America’s coolest boy group. Their photos are also available on t-shirts, in case you want to wear someone’s grad photo on your body. Maybe because you never graduated. Maybe you liked skateboarding too much to care for school back then. Guess what, Mr. Elsesser even snatched a scholarship at one of America’s most prestigious schools. So yeah, we guess one can be smart and skate hard. Oh, and Gino Iannucci’s graphic is an homage to Natas Kaupas’ famous 101 Skateboards graphic designed by Sean Cliver – however, our little birds tell us that 101 wasn’t totally down with Iannucci’s idea and filed a cease & desist against FA. There’s just a few of them, really, so you’ll better be quick.
