Good news, everybody: it’s Spring, finally! Well, at least sort of. Although the weather here in Frankfurt continues to be a moody bitch, we’re quite optimistic about the prospect of Summer. And by the way, there’s a silver lining to all the rain which has been pouring across Europe: once the sun shows up, the colors make a return, and by colors we mean: flowers. Here at Bonkers, we’ve already stacked up on colorful items. Most importantly, we’ll receive the long-awaited reissue of Nike SB’s Digi-Floral Janoski, which is one of the most popular colorways, like, ever. Seriously, the original version from 2013 sells for about 300 bucks on eBay. The Digi-Floral is a stand-out item, no doubt, as it combines a floral pattern with digital camouflage. It’s the perfect companion for a hot summer day at the beach or at the pool. Chances are that the reissue will sell out faster than the Flower Power hippie movement, so act quick.
But wait, the good news don’t end here. 2016 is a football year. With the UEFA European Championship just around the corner, and the recently completed Champions League, Nike SB has entered the playing field with an incredible limited edition of the Janoski. And boy, did they step their game up. The Nike SB x Nike Football Janoski Elite is certainly one of the most sophisticated special editions in Nike SB’s history. Attempting to point out the shared roots of street skating and street soccer (the common denominator here being “street”), the Janoski Elite unites soccer aesthetic with the sleek silhouette of everybody’s favorite skate shoe. The all-black shoe’s upper is made from premium leather and features diamond stitching over the toecap. Fittingly, the shoe is accompanied by a white and a black dry-fit Jersey. And just like Austria in the European Championship, this one won’t be around for very long.
