Nike SB’s most recent Dunk Low release features watercolor paintings of six popular street food dishes from six Chinese cities and looks like a Chinese restaurant after a gas explosion. Paying homage to street hawkers — street food vendors that supply hungry city folk, tourists, and the steadily increasing number of China-bound skateboarders with snacks and drinks — Nike SB commissioned artist Jason Deng to interpret the most popular dishes. The resulting paintings were transferred onto the Dunks, resulting in mismatched shoes that feature a whole menu’s worth of patterns and colors, like the Panda Express delivery guy stepped on a landmine. They’ll doubtless be as popular as Wonton soup, and will leave our stock just as hot. Ok, that’s enough with the tasteless jokes (hehe). And to anyone who’d rather have a Grüne Soße Dunk: You’ll eat what’s put on the table, young man! But only if you’re gonna read those raffle rules correctly, please and thank you. Otherwise, you’ll go to bed with an empty stomach.
The shoe is only available if you are one of the lucky ones and win our Instagram raffle. Follow our Instagram account @bonkers_frankfurt to be the first to get all the information about upcoming Raffles.
