Nike Sb Ishod Pro Shoe

Ishod Wair is a man of taste. The Real Skateboards and Nike SB pro has a knack for vintage cars (especially Porsches and BMWs, which will always be appreciated on this blog), dresses like a model, and even pulls of skating for Monster Energy without looking like a complete idiot. His skating is undisturbed by unnecessary movements or ticks, possessing a naturally developed, crystal-clear style that speaks for itself. As a result, it was high time Nike SB let this MVP design his very own pro shoe: The Nike SB Ishod. Inspired by the Air Jordan IX, a 90s icon, and the legendary Dunk, the Ishod Wair Signature is a shoe that weirdly looks both modern and retro. It features a laundry list of features, such as Nike’s React insole, a vulcanized cup sole construction, a mesh midsection for breathability, and a futuristic “computational designed traction pattern” on the outsole for maximized traction in key areas. Sneaker history buffs will note the reverse heel Swoosh, a reference to the Air Darwin, an obscure 90’s basketball shoe. Speaking of stylistic choices, the Ishod Wair signature shoes look hinges heavily on the specific colorway. While this is true for almost every shoe, it is crucial for the appearance of Wair’s pro model: depending on the color, the Ishod Wair Signature will appear more modern or more retro. In general, we welcome Nike SB’s decision to try something new for a change. While we love Dunks and Blazers, it’s always nice to see that creativity hasn’t gone the way of the Dodo at major corporations. Selling skateboard shoes is not just about making a Dunk look like someone drove into the wall color section at The Home Depot. You can buy the Nike SB Ishod from tomorrow January 7th at our web shop and our store in Frankfurt.
