When Nike entered the skateboarding market in the early 2000s, their products where sold in select skate shops only. What was intended as a essentially a test-run for limited color combinations and all sorts of weird modifications to existing Nike shoes like the Dunk or the Blazer quickly resulted in a sneaker craze that continues to this very day. In the years since the Millennium, however, Nike SB opened up to all sorts of outlets, including malls and online shops from here to the North Pole. Sure, that was a great thing for skateboarders that weren’t so lucky as to have a cool skate shop in their immediate vicinity. However, it also meant that there wasn’t much of a difference between core skate shops and mall shops when it came to shopping Nike SB’s skate shoes. Luckily, that’s gonna change. Releasing every quarter year, the Nike SB Orange Label packs are exclusive to select skate shops. The inaugural collection comprises a Zoom Bruin, a Zoom Blazer Mid, and a Dunk Low Pro. What makes the Orang Label different from other Nike SB releases is their superior quality: aimed exclusively at skateboarders, Nike went all-in with materials and construction. Additionally, the shoe boxes are reminiscent of the early Nike SB boxes, featuring an orange label in the center. You can buy the Nike SB Orange Label pack at our web store and at our shop in Frankfurt from march 1st.
