Nike SB X Stingwater Magic Mushroom Dunk

NYC legend Daniel Kim’s weird-ass brand Stingwater teamed up with Nike SB to release a fly agaric-themed Dunk Low — and it’s packed with trippy detail. Dubbed “Magic Mushroom,” the Dunk’s upper features the titular toadstool’s signature red hue and white-dotted surface. Gone is the large Swoosh so typical of Nike Dunks; a mini-Swoosh shares the side panels with Stingwater’s wordmark. The outsole, on the other hand, is of a slightly blue, translucent rubber. Turning the shoes upside down reveals the slogan “Plant Emoji With Eyes” distributed across the pair’s soles, readable thanks to the see-through rubber. The tongue is translucent as well, revealing the otherwise hidden stuffing beneath its glossy surface. The tongue’s underside also features an illustration of the fly agaric. Springwater, known for its tongue-in-cheek graphics and nonchalant attitude towards hallucinogens, really went all-in with this Dunk, and we wouldn’t be surprised if magic mushrooms indeed played a role in its conception.
