Back to the future: Paris-based skate company Öctagon sent us a time capsule containing a bunch of t-shirts and longsleeves. There’s a retro-futuristic ASCII-code backprint, one with Öctagon’s eponymous octagon symbol, and a very minimalist thermal tee with the brand’s logotype woven into the crewneck. As usual, the company’s intriguing reductionist design elevates the pieces above its competitors – a clever move that will have been planned by the anonymous but omnipresent Öctagon system in some dystopian future.
