LoFi pioneers Bronze 56k and renowned sportswear manufacturer Reebok Classics teamed up for a limited-edition sneaker release that reinterprets the classic Club C Revenge model. Bronze, known for its VHS aesthetic and sarcastic attitude, is among the brands that popularized the 90s Internet nostalgia (hence “56k,” a reference to the speed of early dial-up modems) that continues to be popular today. The title of the company’s first video, ***56K*** (OFFICIAL VIDEO) , reads like an illicit DVD rip you’d download from P2P file-sharing platforms in the early 2000s. Starting as a skateboard hardware company, Bronze 56k quickly expanded into apparel; subsequently, the company’s first collaboration with Reebok Classics released in 2018. In this year’s collaboration, the Club C Revenge takes center stage: releasing in white and black colorways, it retains the original’s easily recognizable shape while adding some details so set it apart from standard editions. For one, the tongue label shows Bronze’s Windows logo, while the heel boldly features the company’s name. Both versions come with leather uppers and suede toe caps. This release also includes a luxe shoe bag. You can buy the Reebok Classics x Bronze 56k Club C Revenge from the 1st of November at our web shop and at our store in Frankfurt.
