Lucas Puig, French national hero and about the only person that looks good skating in short swim shorts, just got a new pro model courtesy of his sponsor, Adidas Skateboarding. The shoe was designed by Puig’s other sponsor, Palace Skateboards, and embraces a more technical design than previous Puig pro models. Palace claims to have gone above and beyond in researching the design and tech properties of the Adidas Lucas Puig, and you can see the brand’s distinct 90’s aesthetic present in every part of the shoe, from the exaggerated heel construction to the enclosed laces. That said, it’s not a terribly bulky affair, and its confident design nicely fits Puig’s outstanding command over his skateboard. The Adidas Skateboarding Puig model designed by Palace Skateboards will exclusively be available at select skate shops, including Bonkers. You can buy the kicks at our web shop and our store in Frankfurt.
