New York-based skate chronicle slash skate label Quartersnacks recently teamed up with Spitfire Wheels to release a small capsule collection that unites both brands’ signature aesthetics. Spitfire, as is well-known, makes some of the best wheels in the biz. NYC – and this is also common knowledge – offers some of the worst flat ground you’ll ever skate. At the same time, the city’s chock full with iconic spots, many of which are only skateable if you’re riding the right equipment. And, by the unerring logic of inductive reasoning, if it’s good enough for NYC spots, it’ll be good enough for your hometown skatepark. At any rate, the collection’s central graphic is QS’s iconic snack man, its chocolate cookie head being replaced by the Spitfire logo. It features on a t-shirt and a hoodie, as well as on two Formula 4 wheels (52mm and 53mm, 99A) and Classic wheels (54mm, 80A). In related news, the regular Quartersnacks collection of t-shirts and crewnecks also dropped this week, featuring trippy 80’s prints. You can buy the Spitfire Wheels x Quartersnacks collab, as well as the new standalone QS releases, at our web shop and our store in Frankfurt.
