Details are scary. That’s where the devil lives. Also, I’ve come to believe that many people aren’t particularly fond of them. Details necessitate thinking – another thing many people find too bothersome in my experience. Also, details may look small upon first inspection, but they can achieve revelatory dimensions: that masculine scent you find lingering about in your apartment when you’re returning from a hard day’s work, the innocent look on your wife’s face and the unusual repetitiveness with which she changes the bed sheets… Well, better not think about it, pal, because blessed are the poor in spirit and so forth (sucker).
Anyway, there are people who aren’t afraid of details. They guys behind Post Details, for example – which is a little confusing since “post” is Latin for “after.” So, I guess what I’m asking is whether After Details is expressing a sense of engorgement towards details or is referring to the fact that their final product is only finished AFTER applying a sufficient amount of details to it? You see what I did there? I was thinking about Post Details’ details.
