For their second collaboration to date, Vans Shoes and Quasi Skateboards took a shovel, dug out the Epoch (one of the former’s lesser-known models from the mid-90s) and shocked them back to life with the help of a defibrillator. After the dust had cleared in Vans’ secret underground reanimation laboratory, they realized they had to update the shoe for today’s skateboarders highly specific needs. Which is why they gave ‘em the Pro treatment : the two variants of the Epoch come with premium suede, Duracap reinforced uppers and Ultracush HD foot beds, while retaining that special mid-90s skate shoe vibe that helped Vans stand out from its competition back at the time.
